Change My Direction!
Early childhood development depends on the activities of the parents. Parents need to be encouraged and supported .To support our parents, one day workshops, sponsored by First 5 Riverside, presented information and literature to parents. With the increased need of quality, affordable child care and the decreased participation in preschool, we decided to present a more detailed series that taught parents how to aid in their preschoolers reading literacy development. Change My Direction! was created. The First 5-Riverside continued to support this effort with funding to expand.
Support from First 5Riverside has ended because of budget cuts but the workshops will continue. We are depending on volunteers, financial and material donations from you. We have added preshoolers to the Cause. Join the Cause on Facebook. Moving Young Men from Prison Beds to Corporate Heads! Return Home
