ATTENTION!

We are no longer participating in the Reach Back Summit 2012.

Thank You!

To all our supporters and donors, Thank you. Without you we would not have come this far and we would not be able to expand further. This school year is looking very promising for the after school program.  Plans are underway to resume Change My Direction! workshops. We are entering the new year inspired and excited with a new strategic plan. Thank you for your support and encouragement.

Special Project: Building our nest.

Picture
Imagine, over 2300 square feet dedicated to providing services to children and their parents. This can become a reality with your help.

EWCOC was donated two (2) 24'x48' modular units. The Outreach Center's entire operation would be housed in these units: offices and classrooms. Presently, EWCOC can facilitate 25 students in the after school program; workshops must be scheduled around the availability of space from Eagles Wings Christian Church. More workshops can be scheduled with higher frequency and more children can be accommodated in the after school program. The land surrounding the units will be developed for outdoor activities: a grassy area for play and potential for a walking track.

  2. A number of factors affect the nutrition and exercise habits of young children, including personal choices by parents and children, financial constraints (such as the availability, accessibility, and cost of healthy options), and public policies. (Child Trends, Early Childhood Highlights)
